This series of abstracts reflects my interest and fascination with visual details.
Seeing nature’s visual patterns, structures, and repetitions stimulate a curiosity
of “How this all began?” Bringing my imagination to this conundrum, I fabricate and re-imagine my environment with lines, strong colors, and patterned fragments through
painting and drawing with acrylics, charcoal, and ink. Creating atmosphere
around organic elements, gives me a sense of moving in space described with
gestural brushstrokes. I feel myself moving and floating in space while looking
down through the layers. A visual journey unfolds. My love of movement and
rhythm from my passion for dance feeds my visual vocabulary.
